Because of this atrocious wet weather, Acocks Green Carnival has sadly been cancelled - the recreation ground is terribly water-logged.
This is the first time in 39 years of the Carnival that the weather has caused it’s cancellation and our heart goes out to all those people who have been working hard towards being part of this most popular annual event.
Lets hope the weather improves soon and there will be other ways for the community to get together in the near future.
