If you want to encourage the kids to read more then this is the time – the Summer Reading Challenge is taking place at libraries across the country including Acocks Green Library. Children aged 4 to 11 are invited to sign up to the challenge which involves reading 6 books over the school holidays and writing reviews. Stickers and rewards are given out free along the way. Its a great opportunity to be part of a national club of reading and it’s all free and on our doorstep.
