Birmingham Libraries have launched the latest Summer Reading Challenge for children to take part in during the school holidays. The challenge is to read 6 books during their school break and to write a short review of each book, did you love it? Did it scare you? Was it interesting? There will be small rewards along the way and Acocks Green Library will have a disco for all those children who complete the challenge at the end of the summer. So why not go along to the library and sign up to the Challenge and start a summer of reading enjoyment?
The theme of the Challenge this year is Record Breakers.
There are lots of other free activities happening in Acocks Green Library too during the holidays, including Craft Sessions, Story Time and a Sci Fi Day on 1st August. Call in for more details or give them a ring.
