Thanks to all the volunteers who came out to help out on the Canal Clean up on Sunday. There was litter-picking, painting and seed-sowing. Steve and Brian even managed to reach the bag of rubbish that had been hanging in the tree for over a year! Three locals from Shirley Sea Cadets came along in their kayaks and worked really hard fishing out rubbish from the water and far bank. Around 20 bags of rubbish were collected.

Springtime in Westley Vale

This Sunday, (30th April) Westley Vale Millennium Green are having their Spring Tidy Up. Meet at the gates at 10am to tidy up our local beauty spot. New volunteers to these events are warmly welcomed.
