Keep Britain Tidy are encouraging communities to take part in a Big Clean Up on the weekend of 2nd to 4th March 2018.

The keen people of Acocks Green are coming together with the backing of Village in Bloom to organise a mass tidy up.  Working with schools, scouts and the The Friends of Acocks Green Recreation Ground together we hope to make a difference.

Here is you opportunity to help too! On Sunday 4th of March the Village in Bloom Team will meet at 10am at the corner of Woodcock Lane/Warwick Road to tidy up the side streets of AG.  If you would like to do your own litter picking in your road then the team can lend litter-picking sticks on a long-term basis as well as a supply of special bags that the council recognise
and will collect from designated collection points.  So come and play your part and let’s show people we want to clean up Acocks Green!
