Acocks Green Neighbourhood Forum set up a collaboration with Canals and Rivers Trust to adopt a stretch of canal back in 2016. A group of volunteers meet up a few times of year to clean and tidy the canal, picking up litter, cutting back branches, fishing dumped junk out of the water. Anyone who would like to come and help is welcome. We would really like to find someone who had a dingy or canoe to come down and help fish rubbish out of the canal too! New people are always welcome.
