Acocks Green Neighbourhood Forum have two events at the beginning of February – come along and join volunteers to help tidy up the canal on Sunday and on Tuesday we have our Public Meeting – updates from the local police, Youth Forum and Acocks Green Men’s Shed.
We can all play a part in our community and connect with local people to
improve our area.

Acocks Green Neighbourhood Forum
I tried to email you directly, but the message was returned. Can you give me a way to contact you? Hello Laura
Thanks for getting in touch with Acocks Green Neighbourhood Forum about volunteering. Were you specifically talking about helping out on the canal clean ups?
I can add you to the emailing list for when we are able to meet up again and work with the canals and rivers trust.
As individuals we have been litter picking around the area, canal, Millennium Green etc. and with Village in Bloom. There are lots of opportunities to help, but not as an organised group until lockdown restrictions are lifted. Village in Bloom are also looking for volunteers to help with gardening etc. Another pressing task that volunteers are required for is delivering the United in Yardley newsletter. Delivering to households around Gospel Lane area. if you are able to help with that let me know.
