Fran Lee, Acocks Green Village in Bloom coordinator, AG Partnership chair and all-round champion of our local community projects is a Finalist for “Community Champion of the Year” Award at the 11th Birmingham Awards 2026. See link below and info on how to Vote for her.
Fran devotes all of her spare time to improving our village and is a real asset in making connections and getting things done. Without her our village wouldn’t have all the beautiful flowers and planters or local greenery projects. She and her team of volunteers, also remove graffiti, paint bins and benches, litter pick and get things repaired, as well as working with local schools and organisations. Fran is always very hands-on in all of these things – a real human dynamo.
