Acocks Green Calendar 2018

Exciting News! Following the sell-out success of last year’s Acocks Green Calendar, Village in Bloom have produced a new calendar for this year. It is a wall calendar and each page features a contemporary colour photograph of some of the scenic views around Acocks Green.  The calendar lists all the public holidays and other significant dates (including full moons) and has space to write your important appointments.

This year the team also put a call out to local people to submit their favourite photos of the area for inclusion in the calendar :

“A great big thank you goes out to all those people who sent in photos! It is so good to see that people are proud of our village and want to capture it. We received over 100 photos and have selected 4 for inclusion in this year’s calendar. It was a really hard decision to choose the most appropriate pictures but we are sure you will like the final result”.  The Village in Bloom Team

All proceeds of the sale of the calendars goes to Village in Bloom and the work that they do to enhance our area, so what an ideal way to support the project and do a bit of Christmas shopping at the same time.

The calendars will be available from Monday 13th November at Beads and Bobbins, Station Road, S & H Jewellers on Warwick Road and everyone’s favourite hardware store – Jeffries – just  £6.50 each.  Get them while stocks last.

Village in Bloom will also have a stall at the AG Christmas Lights Switch On on Saturday 25th November where they will be selling the calendars.
